You may have heard this saying….”failing to plan is a planning to fail”

One of the biggest challenges I see people have is building healthy habits.  One things is for sure….. every day you and I  are either building or destroying our health. This is all based on the choices that we make. What we eat, how we move and what we think.

It is impossible to think that anyone can be healthy 100% of the time. We may know of to be doing everything right but I can assure you that our overall  health profile is a balance of so many different factors, not just eating right or exercising. Mental health plays a significant role. So if you crave a chocolate bar eat it without guilt or don’t eat it at all.  We will talk about mental aspects of health in later posts.

To improve health each and every one of these factors need to be addressed. I hope that I can share with you some of the things that help our family build and maintain outrageous health.

When I wake up in the morning I start my day with a routine.  The first thing I do is have a large glass of purified water. The purifier that we use is found at http://wellness.com.au/filter-range/kitchen-drinking/series-5

This helps to rehydrate our body from the night before. Then I like to go and read over my goals and look over my vision board. I spend some quite time at my home office thinking about what I have planned for the day. this helps me get my “head right” for the day.

When the kids wake up we give them all a drink of water. The kids usually get stuck straight into the fruit and all of us take our supplements. Many years ago I used be a bit of a supplement junkie.  Nowadays I take only a couple. The food that we eat is lacking in so many nutrients so for me I like to supplement with a fish oil, men’s multi vitamin, pro biotic and spirulina. Dr Aya takes fish oil, spirulina and a women’s multi vitamin. Kado and Nate fish oil/flax seed oil, pro biotic and spirulina. Sol gets his from mums milk.

For breakfast we vary between porridge, muesli and fresh fruit and nuts, eggs on Essene Bread ( this bread is so good for you). We only use rice milk or oat milk and the kids have yoghurt.

So here is a simple habit that you can add into your lifestyle that will move you towards greater health and vitality.

Live Longer, Live Stronger.

Hello…………..yes, we are talking to you. If we could show you a way that would help you ,your family and your friends live longer, have no pain, be free of medication and have great health and youthful vitality would you be open to hearing about that?

We are a husband and wife team dedicated to sharing with you our chiropractic and lifestyle journey. Our family has the life that we have just described. We  have 3 boys Nate 4yrs, Kado 2yrs and Sol 6months. None of us take medication. We all have great health. This is not because we are lucky. Quite the opposite, it is because every day we do simple things that give us great health.  So we will ask you again. Who would like to learn more and possibly improve your health, so that you and your family can experience an outrageous life that comes from having great health.

Excellent.

We are just as excited as you because every day we get to help more and more people realise their God given health potential.

The first thing that we would like share with you is there are 4 essentials for Health.

1) Food

2) Water

3) Oxygen

4) Nerve Supply

Well there is actually 5. Love is the 5th.

If we look at the four “Essentials” for health which one do you think is the most important. Yes that’s right Nerve Supply. We can go without food for 40 days, well some us can’t. I know if I miss a meal I can get a little cranky.

We can last about 6 days without water before we dehydrate.

We can only last 4-6 minutes without oxygen before we have irreversible brain damage.

And we cannot last long without a nerve supply. So if we are to look at the most important requirement that we need to be strong and healthy it is a good nerve supply.

Both Aya and myself like to learn by watching videos. Maybe it’s because we read so many text books at university.  We have a  short video for you to explain how your nervous system is so important. We will be sharing with you practical tips that our family does on a daily basis. Nothing to hard, just super effective. We know life is busy and we want you to have the “Best Bang for Your Time”.
